Commissioner Shorey
is no stranger to state and local government. He was elected to
the State House of Representatives in 1998, where he represented
District 135. Kevin left the House in 2000 to run for the State
Senate, where he would come to chair the Business Committee.

graduated from Columbia University in 1981 and attended
Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School.
Kevin and
wife Kirsten own Quoddy Footwear, a third generation family
business located in Perry.
Kevin was
elected to the County Commission in 2004, representing District
I -- Alexander, Baileyville, Baring, Beddington, Calais,
Charlotte, Codyville, Cooper, Crawford, Danforth, Deblois,
Dennysville, Grand Lake Stream, Meddybemps, Northfield,
Princeton, Robbinston, Talmadge, Topsfield, Vanceboro, Waite,
Wesley, Northern Washington County Unorganized Territories and
Indian Township.
