Meet Photographer Alicia Jonah

Born in New Hampshire, the family moved several times before finally landing in Dover-Foxcroft.  Jonah is a graduate of Foxcroft Academy in 1997, EMTC in 1998 for Automotive Technology, and also attended Beal College in the Law Enforcement Program. 

"After settling in Bangor to raise a family; I made my first trip to Machias in July of 2009 and immediately fell in love with the town and the people.  I felt very at home here and moved with my two children to the area in November.  I love being near the ocean, and the small town atmosphere is comfortable. I have no plans on leaving.  I have two boys currently 9 and 4, who keep me energized.  I have a passion for photography and nature and the boys and I love to hike, fish and explore." --  Alicia Jonah
