Appointed Chief
Deputy by Sheriff Donnie Smith in January 2007, Mike St. Louis
is no stranger to local law enforcement.
He came to
Machias in 1986 and served on the local police force for two
years before joining the Sheriff's Department after his
graduation from the Maine Criminal Justice Academy in 1988.
Mike serves as
the Department's Fire Arms Instructor and is a Drug Recognition
Expert and K-9 handler.
He is also a
member of the Maine Cyber-Crimes Task Force.
Mike and his
wife Rose live in Marshfield with their five children.
