Dean Preston
has served county government for the past seven years, but his
commitment to Washington County goes far beyond that.
Dean grew up
in Washington County, graduating from Shead High School of
Eastport in 1985 as the Senior Class President.
Dean attended
college at the University of Maine, and graduated with a
Bachelor of Sciences in Civil Engineering in 1990.
After
college, Dean joined the Army, and served a tour of duty in
Iraq. Dean obtained the rank of Major, and is a member of the
Maine Army National Guard.
Dean is a
proud member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the
American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and American Public
Works Association.
