Focus Team
The mission of the Communications Team is to support all shared
visions of Washington County: One Community by enabling a seamless
and transparent communications system.
The priorities for the Communications Team include maintaining this
web site, the county-wide Quality of Life survey (results to be
posted soon),
newsletters, a Washington County: One Community brochure,
and making the survey results available to county residents.

Projects
A central theme in the Washington County: One Community
initiative is communication across the county. We seek to share
our successes, learn from one another and promote those
business, education and community efforts that make us strong.
To that end those working in the Communication Focus Area have
completed a newsletter and a survey, mailed county-wide in
August, 2007, and this web site. Please send us your survey
responses and web site feed back!
Newsletter:
Washington County: One Community completed its first
newsletter
in August, 2007 sent by mail to all Washington County residents. The
Washington County: One Community newsletter highlights several
positive stories that may not always make it into the newspapers.
There are many others. With limited budgets future newsletters may
only be posted on-line. Please
contact us
so we can share your stories of success about our county, our
people, and our local businesses.
Quality of Life Survey:
The
primary goal of Washington County: One Community is to harness the
strengths and spirit of Washington County residents. The
Quality of Life Survey results will assist our One Community in
identifying our strengths, needs and opportunities. All postal
addresses in Washington County received the survey with this
newsletter. Click here for Quality of

Website:
County Government has graciously donated web-space for Washington
County: One Community to post organizational information on their
web site. That information, accessible to your right, will serve as
a jumping off point to a larger site as Washington County: One
Community develops current projects further and responds to input
from the county wide survey.
